Bordo Drill Bit Bright HSS Jobber Range

Bordo's high speed steel (HSS) standard drill bits are designed for all general purpose drilling in wood, metal and plastics, and particularly for non-ferrous applications. Sizing ranges from 1/16" to 1/2"

The HSS Black Finish Long Series Drill Bits are generally recommended for ferrous applications where the oxide layer aids chip flow and heat dissipation. The black finish helps to keep lubricant on the tool which reduces friction and cold welding. Sizing ranges from 1/16" to 1/2"

The 1/2" shank HSS Reduced Shank Drill Bits have a 30 degree helix flute and a 118 degree notched point. This notched point is a variation on a standard chisel point providing faster starting and reduced drill wander. They are suitable for general purpose drilling. With an overall length of 152mm, sizing is available from 17/32" to 1-1/4"
